Overview

The Media Planner/Buyer plans, places and manages omnichannel media campaigns for multiple clients. Strategies could include any and all media across the full digital and traditional ecosystem, including everything from display, social and streaming to broadcast, print, outdoor and direct. This is a client-facing role, so they need to be comfortable presenting to and meeting with clients directly, and often. They need to possess the work ethic to make sure our campaigns are running as efficiently as possible without consistent oversight.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY

  • 2+ years planning and placing media buys, including both digital and traditional
  • Experience setting up, running, optimizing and reporting on ad campaigns in Google, Bing, Facebook,
  • Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience in all traditional media channels and fundamentals (TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Direct Mail, etc.)
  • Expertise in Google Analytics
  • Ideally, experience running both B2B and B2C paid campaigns
  • Certification in Google Analytics / Google Ads / Facebook Ads
  • Experience setting up campaign conversions in Google Tag Manager
  • Comfortable running client reporting meetings
  • Experience in Google Datastudio is ideal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Candidate must provide sample media plans they personally developed
  • Candidate must provide sample reporting documents they personally created

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop media plans and execute buys for clients and the agency as a whole
  • Negotiate with media outlets for the most efficient buys and added value
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new targeting options and strategic direction
  • Report on campaign effectiveness for key performance indicators
  • Develop KPIs and determine ROI for strategies and associated tactics
  • Present plans and regular reporting to clients
  • Bring new ideas and opportunities to the agency and clients
  • Regularly access tools such as web and social analytics, online brand studies, social listening and syndicated research
  • Analyze data, determine insights and develop recommendations to optimize the user experience/messaging
  • Create insertion orders and traffic campaigns through various digital and traditional platforms
  • Manage media spend
