The Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma has selected Frederick Swanston to develop a brand platform, creative strategy and identity package. The Stephenson Cancer Center is Oklahoma’s only comprehensive cancer center, and as such, is vitally important as a cancer resource for the people of Oklahoma.According to Rick Ender, Frederick Swanston Partner/Creative Director, “The RFP was for a branding agency and we have a ton of experience branding healthcare systems. This was right in our sweet spot. We showed them a lot of work they really liked, which was really gratifying.”
Added Una Newman, Senior Director of the agency’s Healthcare Division, “In addition to our strategic recommendations, the client said the fact that we went above and beyond in our response demonstrated how much we wanted the business. You always like to hear that!”
The agency is currently conducting market research among the Cancer Center’s constituents and Oklahoma residents, in preparation for developing the Stephenson Cancer Center brand position and messaging strategy. Initial work will begin to appear in the next few months.
