The Interactive Advertising Bureau – based on their quarterly study – reported that Internet advertising hit a record $36.6 billion in total for 2012. That’s an increase of about 15% from 2011.About 50% of that increase came in the search category. Those are ads sold by Google and other Internet providers.  The fastest growing category with revenue of $3.4 billion was mobile which had more than a 111% increase from the prior year.

All this amazing news was reported in a postage stamp sized article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

You gotta be wondering “When and why will these internet advertising trends level off?”
