I thought the little kids were cute…and annoying. This ad was great for the first 15 seconds. I don’t know what it’s like to be a dad and I can’t relate to this commercial. It was definitely cute but took too long to get to the point. It was like they had so many cute kids they couldn’t cut any of them out and had to have every single one thrown into the mix. If I see this commercial more than once on TV, my head might explode.
They had a good idea using kids and babies, but Dove is not about cute kids- even though they make you want to keep on watching. Dove ads should be more about their soap and beauty products and what they can do to improve your life experience. The commercial may help build consumer loyalty, but it doesn’t make me want to go out and buy Dove products.
