Avatar Tom & Graham

This ad proved no point towards stress revolving around deodorant. While yes it showed a stressful situation, the ad itself didn’t last long enough to prove a point. Also since deodorant prevents unwanted smell and perspiration the ad didn’t even show that the situation caused sweats. My female friend agrees that this ad makes no sense and has nothing to do with what was being advertised.

This was a very creative story but despite its creativity, I just was not particularly interested in what they had to say. The subject was the problem – not their obvious creativity in presenting a “dull” subject. So, in short, I commend them for their professionalism, humorous approach and their creativity, but I didn’t really like the subject matter.

Meet the Authors

The 18 year old

A rising student of film, Graham measures all advertising against his favorite movie scenes. So a commercial with a good car chase plays well. Better with an explosion. And funny. It should be funny. So a speeding car that explodes in an amusing way will sell product.

The 80 year old

Graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Business School, Tom doesn’t let his Ivy League education interfere with an appreciation for inane advertising campaigns. He more than appreciates a poodle in a business suit selling cleaning products. He also enjoys talking babies.
