Turner Broadcasting is a powerful cable TV brand airing syndicated shows and original programming, segmented for its TBS Very Funny and TNT We Know Drama channels. Our role was to develop advertising, collateral and consumer promotions that sold this new positioning to media professionals and consumers.

Approach

Focusing on the Humor and Drama segmenting of TBS and TNT, we created concepts that aligned with the respective channel positioning. For TBS Very Funny we took their Department of Humor Analysis concept and extended into a trade advertising campaign, and created similar campaigns for TNT We Know Drama.
